Stayed at a big room with an extremely comfortable bed and splendid view, for example. The pool was heated, the staff here was amiable and excellent. Stunning and incredible location to so many places was a plus. I found The Highlander Pub offering shots and different drinks 1 mi of the venue...

the panorama guest house was a fantastic find! the place was spotlessly clean, and the location was so convenient – close to everything my parents needed. they got some great local insights from the owners - marianne and rob, and one service that really stood out was the delicious breakfast made by rob. the views were breathtaking too!
Recommend.

As women traveling alone, we loved the secure parking in the lock-up garage. the owners, Marianne and Rob, were super friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the Port Alfred Marina and the distance sea views. the breakfasts were fantastic and always served fresh and on time. the wifi signal was fast and reliable, perfect for staying connected. the plunge pool was clean and refreshing, and the added bonus of seeing the Dassies was a delight. the accommodation had made alternative plans for load shedding and water shortages, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay.
Felt safe and secure, nothing to complain about.

The view from the hotel was stunning, and we felt immediately at home thanks to the friendly and helpful hospitality of the couple who runs the place. Breakfast was a true highlight of our stay, with delicious options presented in a lovely way. We also appreciated the recommendations for local restaurants and things to do in the area.
While our overall stay was great, we did have a bit of an awkward check-in experience with some miscommunication between us and the couple welcoming us. Perhaps a clearer way of indicating how to call for assistance when arriving outside of regular hours would be helpful for future guests.

Don't forget to try the food at the restaurant nearby, it's right next to where you're staying, and it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the museum.
